Automation of your routine workflows and customization of specialized processes
For our customers we develop software tools, extensions and apps for automation and customization of CAE processes within ANSYS products. Typically starting up with the preparation of input data, followed by the computational model set up ending up with the results post-processing and output data analysis.
Utilizing ANSYS ACT (ANSYS Simulation Customization Toolkit) we deliver a solution in case when your industry-specific demands are exceeding the ANSYS general capabilities. With the use of ANSYS ACT, we help you to:
- extend the current ANSYS products by creating of ACT Apps for your business-specific tasks and processes.
- automate and customize your CAE-process in Workbench, Mechanical, Spaceclaim products.
- integrate third party software in to ANSYS environment.
For an advanced customization demands we offer automation and customization of the the ANSYS Mechanical solver based on scripting in APDL (ANSYS Parametric Design Language) and development of custom material models, user-defined finite elements and routines for ANSYS Mechanical solver using ANSYS User-Programmable Features (UPFs) as well.
-
ANSYS ACT Apps Development
The ACT extensions provide the user with customized user interface elements which can be used for automation of repetitive tasks, integration of third-party software, or extension of functionality of the ANSYS products. -
ANSYS UPFs
Customize and extend the features of Mechanical APDL Solver Development of ANSYS Routines in Fortran or C++. -
Development of APDL scripts and macros
Interconnect available State-of-the-art technologies in order to emphasize your CAE processes while performing advanced simulations.
Our software developers are ready to provide with a custom solution for your task.

-
ANSYS ACT Extension: Energy plot
The extension allows to evaluate the time history of the energies like stiffness energy, kinetic energy, damping energy, work done by external load, artificial energy due to hourglass control/drill stiffness or due to contact stabilization damping, artificial energy due to nonlinear stabilization.>
-
ANSYS ACT Extension: Figures Manager
The extension allows efficient change of graphical preferences of multiple result Figures located in the Mechanical Outline tree. The Figures properties (like name, view, deformed scale, min/max symbols, legend etc.) for each Figure are displayed in a synoptic table and can be changed all at once by multiple row selection. The extension can be used for preparing sets of Figures with the same graphical style and properties for reporting purposes.>
-
User-defined material model for steel fibre reinforced concrete (SFRC)
A new custom material model for steel fibre reinforced concrete has been developed as a user material law in ANSYS simulation software.>
-
ANSYS ACT Extension: FEMFAT inside ANSYS
The ACT Extension FEMFAT for ANSYS was developed by DESIGNTEC for our customer Engineering Center Steyr GmbH & Co KG, the developer of FEMFAT software.>
